The event is part of the celebrations for the European Night of Museums, which this year falls on Saturday, May 16, 2026. It will begin at 8:00 PM in the temporary exhibition hall at the main headquarters of the museum located at Zgorzelecka Street 28/29.
The exhibition will showcase works by seventeen sculptors. This group includes: Stanisław Borowski, Mateusz Grobelny, Mieczysław Kozłowski, Józef Król, Czesław Matyjewicz, Michał Mazikiewicz, Eugeniusz Niemirowski, Mariusz Ochocki, Jacek Opała, Mariusz Potyszka, Bronisław Romanowski, Andrzej Sadczuk, Łukasz Skorupski, Robert Szulik, “Teapot”, Bronisław Wolanin and Marek Zyga. The ceramic sculptures and those made of glass or wood showcase various techniques and styles.
The overview of contemporary Bolesławiec artists is intended to reflect the different trends currently prevailing in this field of art. The opening will be an opportunity to get to know them better and to meet and converse with the authors of the presented works.
The exhibition will be open to visitors until June 14, 2026, during museum hours.
